Rebecca Luhm

Welcome South and East Side Families

I work as the school counselor at both South and East Side Schools. I do weekly classroom presentations at both elementary schools. In addition, I do individual counseling and small group counseling groups at both schools. Feel free to contact me at either school, if you have any concerns about your child. I occasionally meet with parents to give ideas on how to handle difficult behaviors with your child.

 My Educational Background 

I graduated from Rocky Mountain College in Billings, Montana with a BA degree, from University of Denver with a Master's in Social Work, and from Montana State University with a Master's in Education.

 I have worked with families and children in a variety of settings including Family Services, Thermopolis and Worland elementary and middle schools, and Cloud Peak Counseling Center in Worland.

 My Certifications and Licenses 

Include Licensed Clinical Social Worker, School Counseling and Social Work, Brain Gym Instructor.

I am currently working on a certification in play therapy.

 Personal Interests and Information

My family has lived in Worland thirty years. I grew up in Cody and love the Big Horn Basin. I enjoy doing some volunteer work with high school students at my local parish and am currently serving on the parish council. My husband and I have two grown children. I enjoy traveling and cooking. I have knowledge and interest in special needs students and happy to share any resources that I have with you.
